from Cartoon Network’s Generator Rex.
Circe is the romantic interest of the main character in Generator Rex, and as it always goes, she gets the most hate of any character. Unfortunately, she’s also the most morally ambiguous character, so people who hate her for stupid reasons can pretend they hate her for more legitimate ones. But I digress…
Overall, Circe is proudly independent, and though she’s insecure, she sticks with the decisions she makes. It’s true, she’s working for the bad guys for the majority of the series, but she really was just a teenage girl without a home or family to go to, who stuck with the first people who reached out to her.
She does what she feels is right - rather than take the advice of a cute boy she just met, she sticks with her guns and stays with the people who gave her a home. Circe might not always make the right decisions, but they are her own decisions. And that’s something worth noticing.

But yeah, sad news, the majority of the population is lame wherever you go. The nerd culture in Japan is EXTREMELY awesome and hi-tech, though, so it’s still an otaku Neverland. Say what you will, but they don’t have maid cafes or Harajuku in America =P

Yep. I think that attempt at repression is part of the reason the nerd culture is as passionate as it is. I really admire Japanese nerds.
People really don’t understand how derogatory the term “otaku” is and always has been. Cultural appropriation at its finest: what we think it means vs. what it really connotates. Two different things.
